The Firth of Forth is ideal for sea angling with its islands, ridges, reefs & hard ground where fish such as Pollack, Cod, Wrasse, Ling & Saithe feed. Baits such as lug & rag worm are usually the best, but squid, mussels & mackerel strip are also worth a try. Artificial lures such as feathers, fluorescent squid & pirks can also be effective. The inshore area between North Berwick & Dunbar is most productive during the summer months, while the May Island can produce some specimen catches. The Mackerel arrive in July & August giving great sport. "Thistle B11" can accommodate 12 anglers Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided free. Toilet facilities onboard. Rods, reels & tackle can be supplied. Trips can be arranged to suit your individual requirements. Clubs, large & small groups, family outings. Please phone for further details & prices.
